How these guides are made

We start with the action a traveller can take now, check operator or public-authority guidance, and link to the sources. Japanese staff messages are written to help you ask for assistance without claiming a diagnosis or entitlement.

The initial guides use desk research supported by AI-assisted drafting. They have not yet been tested in person. Explanatory diagrams are not photographs or exact reproductions of machines.

What we check

We separate operator-specific rules from general advice, call out exceptions and show a review date. Follow current signs and staff instructions when they differ from this guide.
