Can I send my suitcase ahead?
Confirm that the destination can receive your suitcase, then ask a delivery counter or participating hotel for the delivery date and cutoff. Do not assume it will arrive the same day.
Do this now
- Ask the receiving hotel or host whether they accept luggage, under which booking name and on which date. An unstaffed apartment needs an agreed recipient.
- Show the counter the destination address, reservation name and arrival date. Ask for the delivery date, price and latest drop-off time before paying.
- Keep your passport, medication, valuables and overnight essentials with you. Photograph the tracking receipt and confirm collection arrangements.
